About GoGirl Web Designs

My name is Amy Lea, I'm 36 years old & live in Morehead City. I have a "baby" named Chance (eight); a boxer that thinks he's a poodle! My beloved "baby girl" Ginger passed away from a battle with cancer in March 2010 at the age of 11. Ginger will forever live in my heart.

My passion for web design began in 2005 when I decided to pursue the challenge of building a website for myself as a real estate agent. My favorite part of sales was the marketing involved: my website, postcards, flyers, newsletters, brochures, etc.

The name "GoGirl" came from my Mom & her constant faith in me; always telling me that I can do anything I set my mind to......thank you Mama! I love learning about web design (and computers in general), and utilize all of the online and "offline" resources that I can. I'm not afraid to admit that I learn something new every day! My latest educational venture is learning Wordpress.

The programs I use are (but not limited to) Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, & Microsoft Expression Web.
